EeE Next 360° is the evolution of RIDHE’s Education in Emergency programme into an integrated model connecting education, innovation, technology, employability, protection, mental health, climate action and community resilience.

The strategy starts from a simple idea: in situations of forced mobility and crisis, continuing to learn is essential, but it is not enough. People also need tools to rebuild their life plans, generate income, protect their wellbeing, adapt to technological and climate change, and take part in decisions that shape their communities.

EeE Next 360° therefore turns education into a platform for opportunity, combining flexible learning with digital and AI skills, career guidance, entrepreneurship, community innovation, psychosocial wellbeing and environmental action.

¿Por qué innovamos?

Today’s crises are educational, economic, social, digital, climate-related and emotional at the same time. Displacement and vulnerability can interrupt education, weaken support networks, limit access to decent work and increase exposure to protection risks and stress.

EeE Next 360° responds by moving beyond a model focused only on education access towards a pathway to autonomy. Participants are not seen only as beneficiaries, but as learners, workers, entrepreneurs, innovators, environmental stewards and agents of change.

Each participant can build a pathway that reflects their needs, skills and aspirations. The components are designed to reinforce one another so that learning leads to concrete opportunities and individual progress also strengthens communities.

Education and life skills. Flexible learning, languages, critical thinking, communication, socio-emotional skills and guidance towards further education, vocational training or certification.

Technology, AI and digital citizenship. Digital literacy, responsible use of artificial intelligence for learning, work and entrepreneurship, cybersecurity, privacy, and prevention of misinformation and online risks.

Employability and economic autonomy. Skills profiling, CVs, interviews, job search, mentoring, entrepreneurship, financial education and connections with employers, universities and opportunities in the digital, green, creative and care economies.

Protection, mental health and wellbeing. Safe spaces, psychosocial support, self-care, peer support, prevention of violence and discrimination, referral pathways, and sport, arts and culture as tools for wellbeing and social cohesion.

Climate change and environmental resilience. Practical climate education, circular economy, water and waste management, biodiversity, community adaptation, green jobs, eco-labs and nature-based solutions.

Community innovation and action. Labs where young people, women and local organisations identify challenges, design solutions, prototype ideas and develop small-scale projects with local impact.

Leadership and influence. Evidence generation, participation in dialogue and alliance-building so that community experience can improve humanitarian policies, practices and systems.

Innovation led by communities

For RIDHE, innovation is not only about introducing technology. It means solving real problems together with the people who experience them. EeE Next 360° promotes community innovation labs, an Employment + AI pathway, a skills passport, eco-resilience challenges, wellbeing networks and partnerships with universities, employers, civil society and public institutions.
